About

My story

I’m Albert Francis, a 16-year-old from Berkshire, currently boarding at Westonbirt School. I’ve always been interested in clothes and wanted to create something of my own. I’m building Arven Row alongside sixth form, working on designs, speaking to suppliers and growing the brand between lessons and in the evenings.

It’s still early days, and I want people to see the process—from the first ideas and samples through to the first release. Friends and family have already started supporting it, which makes getting the actual clothing right even more important to me.

What makes it different

The personal story is a big part of Arven Row: it’s a brand being built by someone who wants to wear the clothes and is involved in each decision. I want customers to feel connected to that journey.

The design direction is understated rather than covered in large logos. The aim is to make pieces feel special through their fit, fabric, embroidery and packaging. Those are things I’m developing and checking through samples before launch.

The name and identity

I want Arven Row to feel like a place people can belong to. The name fits the understated, classic character I want the brand to have, while leaving room for it to grow beyond one product.

There isn’t a historic fashion house behind it—we’re creating our own story from the beginning.
